It is 11:30 AM, Saturday. we are packing and getting the house ready. We leave here at about 2:30 and our flight leaves at 5:05 from DFW. We used miles and cash to upgrade to business class for the Dallas to London flight, but the London Dubai is coach. The kicker is that we have to change airports in London--Gatwick to Heathrow. It is an hour by shuttle bus and we have a 4 hour layover. It should be fine.
This morning Leslie got in her last Jazzercise workout and I took dad to breakfast and finished my errands. I needed a replacement charger for the camera, an extra lens protector and a pair of inexpensive noise canceling ear buds for Leslie--same pair I have. The Maytag repair man is due here between 11:00 and 1:00 to finish the repair he started so we can run the dishwasher before we leave.
BTW, if you are in Dallas I highly recommend Cooters Village Cameras in Highland Park Village over Wolf. I received incredible service there, where as wolf they treat you as pariah if you did not purchase your camera there. The salesman tempted me to get the Canon D-40 anniversary package. Camera body, high end starter lens with image stability, extra battery, carrying case for $1,750ish. My current lenses would fit it, but I thought better of it.
