11:00am, Friday 19 Sept, Guam
Picture is Sunset from the plane about an hour after take-off from Japan.
For those not in the industry nor over-traveled, that translates as Dallas Love Field to Houston Intercontinental to Narita Tokyo, Japan to Guam. We left home in Dallas (thanks Heidi!) at about 5:45. Flew to Houston and met up with Leslie's mom who met us there from OKC (she left there earlier, thanks Harry). 14 hours later we landed at Narita. Tired from travel and little sleep, we made it to the connecting flight to Guam.
We landed in Guam about 24 hours after we had woken up. It was 8:30pm, Thursday the 18th. We made it to the Hotel and crashed for 10 hours of needed sleep.
We had breakfast in the hotel's cafe, Leslie opting for the traditional of eggs and bacon, Sharon had an omlete with Chamorro sausage and I had eggs, Chamorro sausage and rice. Chamorro is a language and is what the guam natives refer to themselves as this is a local sausage favorite. It is spicy and sliced off of a long link.
We are all well and taking a walking tour around Tamuning, Guam. We fly to Palau at 5:50pm this afternoon.

I couldn't get the picture to come up but it was good to see you'd gotten there safely.
